The storefront uses local browser storage to remember cart selections, prevent duplicate checkout attempts, and remember your privacy choice. These functions support the service you requested and are not used for advertising.

We also remember whether this browser has seen the welcome offer or submitted a mailing-list signup request, so the automatic prompt does not keep interrupting you. These preferences contain no email address. Clearing browser storage resets them; the corner offer remains available to open yourself.

Restricted staff areas may use secure authentication cookies to keep authorized users signed in. Public visitors do not receive an Outdoor Living Direct account cookie simply by browsing.

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement, such as page views, referring sites, general location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies and is designed to report anonymous, aggregated statistics rather than identify individual visitors.

We remove query strings from analytics events and exclude staff administration routes. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form messages, order references, or other contact-form content as analytics event properties.

Google Analytics 4 is optional and loads only after you select “Allow analytics.” It helps us understand how visitors find and use the site. Advertising storage, ad personalization, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals are disabled in our implementation.

When allowed, GA4 may set first-party cookies including _ga, used to distinguish visitors, and _ga_<container-id>, used to maintain session information. Google lists a default expiration of up to two years for these cookies.

You may allow or decline optional analytics cookies from the notice shown when you first visit. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change that choice. If you withdraw permission, we remove GA4 cookies that are available to this site and reload the page without Google Analytics.

You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent the cart or other preference-based features from working as expected. Google also offers a browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We will update this policy when our analytics tools or their purposes materially change. A material change may cause the website to ask for your choice again.
